Just before the last boat the Schnaps was finally delivered, half a liter in a glass bottle. We poured one third out so it would float and threw it at the last boat. Well, they didn't catch it - and - the bottle didn't float. Those who think that this is a terrible waste many contact andreas@fh-konstanz.de to get the bottles coordinates.

The stouter seafarers in the last boat however where so disappointed about this disastrous loss that they decided to go ashore to get the heating drinks themselfes.

To be better prepared for next the encounter the next ration was carefully prepared: The Schnaps was disguised in a somewhat larger bottle. Even though half a liter in such a big bottle looked very few, Lynn had to try some of the Swiss 'mineral water'.

A little further down the river the bottles hang down on a string from a bridge.

Having so much water around them, some people got so thirsty that they decided it would be worth to go even for the last bottle. Unfortunately we don't have a picture of Freddies (BEL) face when he found out that this bottle contained the same liquid which abundantly surrounded him. Obviously, such a daring commiment can be expected from advanced student riders only ...
